					<description><![CDATA[Yes infidelity has been part of the intimacy dance.  It heart wrenching when you feel and know that your spouse just doesn&#039;t  have the same desire for you after THEIR affair.  My spouse is completely checked out abd I have put 110% into working on this marriage. He tells me I love you but I  am who I  am which means I  will not open myself up to feeling any emotions. Says he is in pain which  I empathize with. I was on the verge of really making the decision to leave because I  have sooo much pain in this entire year with no input from him on any level. Yesterday he tild me he is in pain because he has hurt me and continues to and that he does not know how to fix it so he avoids me and doesn&#039;t want to talk about any of it. He said he felt stuck and shamed and guilty for what he has done to our marriage of 35 years. He was so good a deceiving me over a period of 3 years with more than 1 affair going on all at the same time. I wonder if he is really telling the truth about his feelings or is he just saying what I want to gear so I  don&#039;t leave.  I did tell him that you cannot fix the past but you can build a new future. I guess time will tell.
