					<description><![CDATA[I had a combination of &quot;my marriage made me do it&quot; and &quot;I can&#039;t say no&quot;.  I did not confront at first, but about 1 month after I discovered the affair, my husband told me it wasn&#039;t that he didn&#039;t want to stop seeing her, he felt like maybe he just couldn&#039;t or didn&#039;t know how. So I gambled and confronted, first by phone and asked her to cease all communication, then by letter explaining the psychology dynamics that I felt were taking place (she is a psychologist) and lastly in person when I caught them taking a walk in the park together. It is true that it made my husband angry and he has not taken responsibility, but I am glad I confronted because it caused her to finally break off the relationship. My husband may never accept responsibility or get the help he needs, but the way I see it, he has a much better chance now that the affair is over. I confronted for me because that is what I needed to do and I was willing to risk it because I didn&#039;t want him to continue to self destruct, even it it meant our marriage was over. I don&#039;t want to have to win my husband back, if the anger he has because I confronted her causes him to divorce me than he is not the man I want to spend the rest of my life with anyway.]]></description>
